10 STEPS TO A FOUNDATION OF HOLISTIC HEALTH

As sickness and disease are on the increase, there seems to be little hope when we turn to the Medical Practices of today’s America. We live in one of the greatest Countries in the world with Technology that can duplicate a sheep, cow and even the human race. We can transplant organs, build artificial limbs, but we are told there is no cure for so many health issues that many people battle with every day. For how long will we continue to believe and subject ourselves and our families to barbaric Pharmaceutical practices, Food company’s filling us with artificial additives, Polluting our water with highly toxic chemical that are destroying our bodies and the overall health of America.
The human body is a remarkable work of structure that has been proven to be equipped with the ability to heal itself. We have also been blessed with the gift of common since but we have seen over the years that there are many that don’t use what they have been given. We were all told as small children, don’t touch the fire, it’s hot and will burn you. There are many with there hand still stuck in the fire. I am not a doctor and don’t pretend to be the smartest person you will ever meet, but I have stuck my hand in the fire for the last time.
After battling many health issues over the years and overcoming obesity. I want to share with you some truths that I have come to in the last nine years that can turn you and your family’s life on a path to a healthy lifestyle and equip you with knowledge that can change your foundation of health forever.
I have put together a Ten step Holistic approach to obtain and maintain a solid foundation of health. It’s not a diet, nor a fad. It’s a way of life that has had been practiced from the beginning of time and will make a difference everyone’s life. It has mine.

10 HOLISTIC STEPS TO A HEALTHIER LIFE:

#1. Knowledge: The foundation of a healthy lifestyle is knowledge. It is available for those who desire it. #2. Diet: By definition “diet” is the food and drink normally consumed: It is not a program. It is a way of life. According to UNICEF & Earth Summit Report, Americans have on of the worst diets among the other industrialized nations of the world. Unfortunately, we have developed our own worst enemy with our fast paced, fast foods, fast everything society. We have allowed our bodies to be subjected to harmful chemicals, additives and preservatives for the sake of convenience. A proper diet is the center block of health. The choices we make define our wellbeing. #3. Exercise: By getting your body active, the benefits are tremendous. You can get a great deal of exercise right at home with everyday chores. The key is knowing what works and consistency on a daily basis. There are huge benefits of gyms and personal trainers. Professional help will assist in achieving faster results. #4. Hydration: The human body is composed of 85% water: hence a person’s body demands water to function properly. If you drink sodas, energy drinks, coffees, basically anything except water, you are not hydrating your body properly. #5. Body Structure: When your body gets “out of alignment” the healing process can dramatically slow down. The typical symptom of the blockage or misalignment is pain, however decrease blood flow, irregular nervous stimulation or the improper flow of energy can occur. Message therapy, Acupuncture, Osteopathic manipulation, Craniosacral therapy, Physical therapy, Yoga, Ti Chi can restore the harmony of the body. #6. Detoxifying: With the increase in the number of chemicals introduced in the last fifty years, there has been a dramatic increase in incidences of autoimmune disorder, allergies, and common infections. When the human body gets overstressed from the toxins we breathe, the water we drink, foods we eat; it may require assistance of a detoxification process to support the elimination of these toxic substances. #7. Nutrition: The human body reaches optimal functioning from the sources provided to the digestive systems and ultimately to the immune system. In this respect our primal nutritional requirements are derived from plants, supplemented with whole foods, which provide energy and repair to the body. Essentially, you are not what you eat, but what you absorb. Everyone needs an effective Multi-vitamin. #8 Sleep: Everyone’s individual sleep needs vary. In general, most healthy adults are built for 16 hours of wakefulness and need an average of eight hours of sleep a night. However, some individuals are able to function without sleepiness or drowsiness after as little as six hours of sleep. Others can't perform at their peak unless they've slept ten hours. And, contrary to common myth, the need for sleep doesn't decline with age but the ability to sleep for six to eight hours at one time may be reduced. This is the time when your body is releasing many antibodies to rebuild and cleanse toxins from the day before. #9. Emotions & Stress Reduction: One’s “State of Mind” plays an important role towards a proactive approach and/or recovery from sickness and disease. Our beings are constantly under attack and each person’s body responds uniquely to those stressors. The only common denominator is the “State of Mind” that a person is in. A positive attitude, an optimistic overview and a strong desire to be healthy are vital to your emotional health. First you need to recognize your symptoms of stress. Once you’ve identified them, you then need to figure out what is going on in your life to cause those symptoms. The way you define your problem determines where you will look for solutions. Stretching your mind to define the problem in several different ways can reveal alternative solutions that might never have occurred to you. #10. Spiritual Health: The most fundamental level of your being is your spirit. Knowing Who, What and Where you draw your strength from. Trusting in GOD for every breath we take and being led by Him will help us overcome every obstacle. “Third John 2”
